Local News Reports - An
early morning fire damaged three businesses in Boise - the worst hit
being a Vietnamese restaurant. Boise Fire says the fire was near
Curtis and Franklin Road and reported at about 5:45 a.m.
Officials say Vets 4 Success Thrift Store and a tattoo shop also suffered
damage. Employees at the Vets 4 Success Thrift Store say they'll need help with
donations because smoke damaged everything. It recently opened in
April and took them three months to build inventory.
We had just a few minutes earlier today to look
through the thrift store and it appears that we have suffered major
damage with a complete loss of inventory. We will post more images
of the fire, smoke, heat, and water damage when the pictures come
available.
We are committed to
continuing with our mission, but we need your support!

We where told earlier today by the Boise
Fire Investigators that we may be able to get back into the
space today around 4:00pm, but that was not the case. Access
to our space has been blocked by a chain linked fence until
the fire investigation team from the insurance company has
time to complete their own investigation. We will try to get
some pictures posted tomorrow. |
