Week 4 |

Lots of little things to take care. Removed the
pluming to the old sinks, cleaned the overhead lights outside,
replaced light bulbs, and started laying title. We also started to
build our check-out stands. This week we also ran into a little
problem; the roof is leaking :( |

done, we still need drywall, tile, and paint. |

our check-out counter top and the seats in our changing rooms!
Thanks to Bill for getting the title work done, Jim for getting the
walls ready for painting, Mike for all the plumping and electrical
work, and the O'Dell family for hauling off the HUGE pile of drywall
waste. |

Week 7 |
|
Sorry for the delay in getting new images posted,
just had a lot of other little things going on that needed to be
taken care of. Well, we are having a little trouble getting store
shelves and clothing racks donated to us. So, we are looking at
building some of our own out the scrap wood we have left over. They
don't look pretty, but they will do. We now have a washer and dryer
in place and working, thank you Mike for all your help with this. |

January 2010 - New Pictures Update |
|
Sorry (again) for the long delay in getting new
images posted, just had a lot of other things going on that needed
to be taken care of. Well, we scrapped the old style clothing racks
and came up with some simple to make (and cheap) racks. We also
redesigned the 8 foot long shelve. Huge THANK YOU to Jackson's Food
Store for the metal shelve donation and another Huge THANK YOU to
Petra, Inc. for the drywall and materials donation!! And last but
not least, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who has helped us
through donations, support, and volunteering their time!! We would
never have gotten this far without you!! But we still need your help
to get open, donations are always accepted, the big thing is
operating capital, without it we may not be able to meet the needs
of your Veterans. Please
DONATE today. |
